Jenna: 😺Draco and Severus / 🐶Thunder

Before I started working with Praiseworthy Pets, my pets were 100% separated. Severus and Draco (the kittens) stayed in a room upstairs while Thunder (the dog) stayed downstairs. They were separated by at least 2 barriers at all times and Thunder couldn’t see the kittens at all without getting worked up.

We had done some scent swapping and rewarding Thunder for hearing or smelling the kittens through the door. But I was too nervous to try anything else due to Thunder’s history of chasing cats in the yard.
